Christmas Market in Sagrada Familia

Across Europe, at this time of year, you will find the popular Christmas markets. If you are thinking about visiting Barcelona for Christmas, you cannot miss some of the most popular ones in Barcelona: Santa Llúcia and Sagrada Familia.

The first market has over 200 years of tratition, while the Christmas market in Sagrada Familia, with 50 years old, is the oldest in the Eixample area.

In the Fira de la Sagrada Familia (as the Christmas market is called in Catalan) you will find about 100 stalls where you can buy christmas trees, objects to decorate them and the house, craft stalls and food products such as candies, cheeses and meats or even toasted chestnuts and fresh “xurros”.
Take advantage of these dates to come to enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas in Barcelona and do your Christmas shopping.

In addition, on the 21 and 22 of December, Santa Claus will be at the Sagrada Familia Christmas market to listen to the wishes of all children, among other activities organized for these dates in Sagrada Familia.
